Had an appointment for my daughter for her birthday, first the original price given was 64 for style and press. I stated I would like spiral curls, “there’s an up charge for that” okay cool. I’m thinking 5 maybe, total comes to 79???? What?? Then I say how much was the up charge, it’s 10, so where did the extra 5 come from?? I was already gone by the time I put it together and didn’t go back to dispute over 5. And the lady was 15 minutes late. I never heard of a kid style 79, that’s absolutely ridiculous. First and LAST time I will ever visit this place. Also the address listed via google is NOT the correct address. Black people need to do better.

Unless there is camera footage that I can view I will not retract this review. I brought my daughter to this location to get her hair braided. I had become comfortable with Deana (I’m probably misspelling her name)the stylist that had done my daughter hair more than a few times at this point so on this day April 27, 2019 I left the shop and left my daughter with Deana to get her hair braided and when I picked my daughter up I noticed that her hair looked much shorter than it usually is. I went home and compared some pictures of the style that Deana had done from the first time that my daughter had the same exact style and you could see the difference right away in the length of my daughters hair her hair had been cut tremendously (I’m assuming because it must have been really tangled and she didn’t want to detangle it) when asked, Deana said she did not cut my daughter hair. My daughter told me she felt and heard her cut her hair and also it was quite obvious that her hair had been cut. I do not recommend this organization and I’m sorry I had to experience this I hope no one else experiences this untrustworthy and unprofessional establishment.
The hairstylist was not gentle at all with my child’s hair. By the way she had tears in her eyes and was asking for a break. Not to mention my daughter is black and Hispanic so her hair is really long. I should have read reviews before taking her. The salon is ok. She played kids shows but that didn’t help the pain of her blow drying my daughter hair. First and last time here. Kids don’t like to be in pain.
Danyella was very polite on the phone an in person and she's quick. My little girl loves the way she handled her hair, from washing to styling. I was more than satisfied with the outcome of her hair. I would definitely recommend this place.
I've been taking my daughter here once a month for over 4 years (2014) and she loves it! Sure some days the wait is longer than others but that depends on how busy the salon is that day. I'm a loyal customer 30 minute wait or 4 hours.
