After the Communist take over of 1959, countless Cubans fled to America for political freedom. Freedom was achieved thanks to this amazing country, but the only thing missing was authentic Cuban cuisine. Jorge Rios, armed with the American Dream and a growing demand for Cuban food, established Senor Cafe in 2001. It quickly became a gathering spot for people of all backgrounds and blossomed in to a local favorite because of its unique window service, lunch buffet and home-styled dinner menu.

If Senior Cafe didn't exist, someone would have to create it in all its perfection... Excellent Cuban cuisine, very clean, friendly, very reasonable, unassuming and comfy... I tried 3 dishes with different sides and they were spectacular or exelent... I had a whole deep fried Snapper and it was Epic in proportion as well as taste... Do not miss the Delicious, falling off the bone Lamb Shank, order with 2 pieces and you get enough for an extra meal to take home... The 16 oz Skirt Steak was cooked to perfection as they do everything else they ever cooked... Go eat there with confidence, you will never regret it

Amazing! This gem was about a 12 min walk from our hotel- but was totally worth it. Wild Boar sausage was tasty. Even the simple things like the pepper jelly were good! Definite must when in the Hollywood, FL area.

Great Coffee! Wonderful food in a clean and friendly atmosphere. Staff are attentive and they present themselves well. Cooks change gloves constantly and wear masks. I strongly recommend this experience of Señor Cafe to anyone who hasn't been here.
