I spent 22k just to get child and spousal support payments, but there was no strategy in place to get the property division and after 2 months of delays and promises to get a settlement agreement hammered out - I was left with no guidance on what my rights were and what I could expect. When I complained Mr. Holmes told me to just sign the Stipulation as is and that they would not longer represent me and threatened me with attorney fees if he had to go to trial. Attorneys are supposed to fight for you not threaten and abandon you after they take your money.

My opinion is that this law firm is very unprofessional and unethical, charging my ex wife 4,000.00 up front for a simple divorce. Had to proceed to file a complaint with the California Bar, since I am on disability and have been left with no income. I allege this can be considered a conspiracy to extort an unfair settlement, since my ex wife has already stolen my money and is now trying to steal my home.
