Whenever we've fancied fish and chips over the last few years we have always been disappointed to the point where we very rarely had them. A colleague of my husband recommended the catch, so a couple of weeks back we had a takeaway from there, not really expecting too much, but my gosh what a surprise and treat we had the best fish and chips, cannot recommend too highly will never eat fish and chips from anywhere else. Having them for tea tonight and I can't wait. 100% well done the catch holmfirth.

We have relied on this restaurant for fish and chip Takeaway suppers. The service and quality is fantastic. Fish is freshly cooked and packed well so quality and heat remain stable on the trip home. Amazing value for money. Everything is nice and clean. I highly recommended this place.
Nice clean place with really nice food. This was my first visit here having found it via Google, and I have to say I will definitely be going back. All three courses tasted superb, excellent portions sizes, and the salad was fresh. I wouldn't be afraid to try new items in this restaurant because I trust they would be of the best quality. The staff were great. It seemed a busy night but the moment we walked in we were warmly greeted by a young girl and shown to our table. We needed a few extra moments to decided on our dishes and all too often this can result in you having to wait a while before the staff come back but not here. The very attentive staff identified we were now ready and came to take our order. All in all, great food and staff, reasonably priced. We could not fault it.
