We had booked a lodge there for a doggy holiday. Lovely and quiet you will need a car to get about.

Fantastic place with great views and if you were as lucky as us the dear appear from the woods into the large field first thing in the morning. Peace and quiet and the accomodation was tip top. Very clean and comfortable. In the local village a short walk or car journey is the Bradworthy Inn doing honest food and drink. Very welcoming. The village has a few shops to grab a paper in the morning from the post office or the odd supplies, so if like us you wanted to have a BBQ there is a butchers. Tamar Lakes are only 3 miles away for a walk or if you wanted to hire a paddle boat for a couple of hours. For something quirky and fun the Gnome reserve is also close and we all really enjoyed it. Will definitely will return later in the year.

What a lovely holiday spent at Berridon Country Park. It's remote enough that you feel like you've got away, but within easy access of the local village shops.

We stayed at one of the lodges. We had a great time in spite of the bad weather. Definitely worth a visit if you're thinking of visiting the area. Dave Johnson
