What a lovely, cosy cottage with lots of character but includes all modern facilities. Would definitely stay here again as it is in an ideal location, nice and quiet and felt totally relaxed as soon as we arrived which is just what we needed. Enjoyed lots of woodland and coastal walks but we had the best fun with the piano - great to learn something new!

We really enjoyed a lovely stay at 8 Carpenters Cottage in the last week of October 2020. The cottage was well equipped, cosy and in a good location. Anne (the owner) was very helpful and quick to reply to our queries. We particularly enjoyed the piano and would highly recommend staying here for trips to North Norfolk.

This very comfortable, cosy, well equipped cottage is located only a short walk from Holt’s town centre shops. It was also a handy base from where to visit the nearby seaside towns of Cromer, Sheringham and Wells and the lovely beach at Holkham. We also went seal watching at Blakeney Point, by boat from nearby Morston Quay.

Cottage was comfortable and well equipped, everything we needed, and the location was perfect, right in the centre of town but quiet and peaceful. Holt is a friendly small town, and it was a perfect spot for our first break after lockdown. Anne went out of her way to help us reschedule from our original booking date, and was always available to answer questions. We would thoroughly recommend the cottage for a break, and hope to return.

The cottage was well equipped and comfortable. An ideal base for exploring north east Norfolk with easy access to the coast and a selection of wonderful gardens to visit locally. The central location in Holt was really convenient for shopping etc but, at the same time, very quiet and private. A good sized bathroom and bedroom plus an excellent wifi connection.
