Stayed overnight for anniversary. Room small but nice. Ate in the restaurant in the evening and had a great meal. Breakfast good too the next morning. Drinks in the garden in the sunshine.

We stopped for lunch on a day of walking the marshes. Cley is quaint. It has a narrow street. It's easy to get stuck. We ate in the beer garden. We had Woodforde's Where, which was lovely. We had fried fish paninis which were lovely. The staff were lovely.

Nice friendly place. Stopped for a snack and a beer while out touring the coast. Two toasted sandwiches and 2 drinks came to 20. There's a large garden area on the opposite side of the road and a car park to the rear. Dogs welcome in the bar area. Relaxing atmosphere.

Lovely place. Fantastic evening service when we checked in. Great room and price even though we talked price down. Breakfast very odd. lots of unhappy customers. breakfast was too big and oily. Price was quoted at 345 although websites had it at 185. We paid 200 for suite for us and 15 year old son. Breakfast room was still not cleared by 9:30am. So close to being a great place to stay.

What it could be but unfortunately it isn't. The place is pleasant enough newly refurbished, beautiful location, unfortunately the front house is a disaster. Nothing properly explained, very unprofessional, just one person attending the bar, the restaurant and the hotel, it was chaos. Breakfast was horrible at least the "buffet", poor selection of choices, toasts were only toasted in one side, despite that we were only 4 people having breakfast the service was extremely slow. They didn't even have a menu for the cooked breakfast, you had to guess the ingredients you'd like. The food itself was tasty there's no problem with the kitchen is the extremely disappointing service. Found a plaster of some sort on the side of the bed next to the bedside table, not a nice touch to say the least. Won't be back again... maybe for a pint in the garden but that's all!

Stayed two nights. Very comfortable spacious rooms. Although for the price would have expected cooked breakfast to be included not an extra Slightly smelly room, think it was the drains, but with the window open fine. Ate in the restaurant one evening, absolutely fabulous meal. Staff all lovely very helpful. Highly recommend

We were a party of 6 booked in for lunch on New Years Day. There were obviously enormous issues surrounding the change of ownership which had resulted in the staff on duty being very overworked. Despite this, the lady who served us was delightful, friendly and helpful, and the meal was universally declared delicious. We all felt that the two members of staff that we met deserved a special commendation so I am posting this review and giving the hotel 4 stars, despite the fact that the hotel obviously needs some redecorating and updating. We will definitely return and look forward to meeting the new owners.

Good service but pricey for the quality of food on offer. Had far better for the same price elsewhere.
