We were evacuating Louisiana from Hurricane Delta Headed to Mesquite, TX. when our transmission on our vehicle stopped pulling. I wasted no time searching for a tow service. I came across Holt’s Wrecker Service. Athens, TX. I spoke with Mr. Ryan he immediately took my info an dispatched a truck my way. In no time at all Matt Freeman showed up to tow us in. He was very professional and kind. Being a veteran in this business myself & owner of my own tow service back in Louisiana I was very pleased that even being so far, I got treated like I treat my own customers back home. Thx to Mr. Ryan & Mr. Matt for great professional service. I would refer & recommend this business!

I strongly discourage anyone from using Holt Wrecker Service from Athens Texas. WITHOUT CONSENT picked up our motorhome and dropped it off on the side of the road some ten miles down the road. They cannot provide a verifiable person that had them to move it. They did not write a tow ticket as the TDLR REQUIRES THEM TO DO. To make matters even worse, because they dropped it off on the side of the road the motorhome was tagged by Sheriff office to be towed after 72 hours. 48 hours or later it towed was towed by CROW WRECKER to an impound yard and begins to accrue a daily charge that we are now required to pay to get it out that is more than 1,500 Apparently Holt Wrecker Service needs to go back to Texas department of license and regulation and study up on the requirements of towing property in the state of Texas. we have now filed a complaint with the Texas department of license and regulations against hold Wrecker Service and we'll be going before the judge soon begin the process of rectifying this situation. Again I strongly discourage anyone from using HOLT Wrecker Service of Athens Texas.
