I went to Gillian looking for advise about losing weight. After trying different diets through the past years with no success I discovered a completely new approach that changed my mindset about food. I am getting great results, trying different foods and recipes and feeling good about it. I really recommend her. She is a great professional and has a vast knowledge about nutrition :)

I simply cannot thank Gillian enough for her help, support and encouragement when I was tackling a recent health issue. I contact 121 dietitian 10 weeks ago, I had an appointment the following week. Before the appointment I had to fill out a questionnaire and a 7 day food diary. When meeting Gillian she made me feel very comfortable. She assessed my food diary and questionnaire and had agreed the low fodmap diet would be best for myself. Gillian explained the diet in great detail and checked up on how I was coping with the diet. Gillian also looked into every detail of my health and well being and assessed bloods and supplements to help. From being on the diet I have opened up to more variety of foods and have never felt more healthier and comfortable in myself. I would highly recommend the 121 dietitian.
I contacted Gillian in May 2020 for advice relating to weight management and PCOS. I completed a food diary and Gillian was great at explaining how things such as inflammation or an imbalance in gut health are caused and how they can have several knock on effects, in my case reflux, sluggishness and asthma like symptoms all of which made losing weight seem really difficult. After getting some blood tests Gillian recommended a few supplements and changes to diet. Thankfully, these were easy changes to make and I felt so much better after only a few weeks. I have continued with supplements as per Gillian's advice (some can be taken continuously and some for a boost at different times) and have built in the dietary changes too. My wheeziness has long since disappeared, I enjoy exercise again as a result and, once my system balanced itself out, I have lost weight steadily just as Gillian said I would! I would definitely recommend Gillian for great advice, a practical approach and being easy to talk to.
I had been vegan for a few years but recently started to feel extremely tired and overwhelmed trying to figure out what food I could eat that would provide me with enough nutrients. Gillian was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about vegan nutrition, and created a food plan including supplements. Gillian also kept in mind how to keep the diet sustainable, even when life gets busy. I feel that I now have the tools and knowledge to allow me to make better choices when it comes to my diet and a direction to work towards for a healthy future. A fantastic investment.
