Such an oasis in the idyllic surrounds of the Swiss countryside, a short journey by train to the bustle of Zurich but a million miles away for its peace and novelty-value. Impossible not to buy something from the vast collection of gift ideas in the gift shop and certainly the best and most lovingly made capuccino I tasted in Switzerland. Franziska and Monika have a loyal and appreciative customer base and the place was always populated but in a gentle, friendly & inclusive way. I stayed at the B&B run by Franziska across the road which deserves its own review as it was something also very special - so look out for that - suffice to say here, it was a beautifully converted barn with lots of quiet personal space and thoughtfully prepared breakfast every morning....at night not a single sound could be heard and only the stars lit up your vaulted ceilings... magic!
