I've been living at Powis Place for two years now, in an en-suite apartment and I've really enjoyed my staying. The rooms are well maintained and very cozy. The shared kitchen is a pretty big room that has enough space for every resident of the flat. The common areas are also very nice and it is great that there is a gym on site. The staff are all very friendly and helpful whenever you need them, and a lot of mini events are organised during the year that make the living experience even better! Also the appropriate measures have been taken to protect every resident during the Covid-19 pandemic and it truly feels safe to live here during these uncertain times. I would recommend it to everyone!

hi although my daughter previously left a good review about this accomodation their treatment of her in relation to covid 19 has been a disgrace...my daughter rented here for three years paying their top prices for a studio flat rent always paid on time..she had to return home in march as did many students in aberdeen ....she had to pay full rent then half for the last part only to discover someone else was living in her flat... its subletting and illegal do not go near these people.. they have not responded to our emails as they already have the money... liberty and unite among others did not charge their students any rent from april to july go with them...homes for students are a disgrace.

This accommodation has FINALLY emailed me (not even me directly, one of my friends got the email & put it in our gc, the rest never got it) saying that they've came to a decision & to \support\ us students they're offering 50% off our remaining rent, IF we pay them everything by the 24th. So students need to pay them this months (if they haven't already) & all future months rent EARLY by the 24th in order to receive 50% off starting from may. They're asking us to pay 2,000 in a week or get no discount. They've done this on purpose so students who can't get 2k in a week are forced to pay each months rent as usual even though they aren't living there. This is so unethical!! They've deliberately set a weeks deadline so students who rely on student loans aren't able to get the discount. As well as this, they're not telling us when we'll get the 50% back. Unfortunately there's literally nothing we can do, I don't think it's illegal because technically they aren't demanding rent, they're demanding rent for a future refund. Either way the only options I have are to put this online & ask everyone to leave a one star review on my accommodation so people don't book with them again :(

Have been living here for the past 9 months and I of the conviction that it is worth the money. I stay in a standard en-suite apartment and it's spacious and functional. space as well. The staff (especially Kimberley) are very friendly and kind. The recently opened gym is also very very good with a lot of equipment. The location is also great as it's close to Aberdeen university and 10 minutes away from the center of the city. I do feel however that there could be more events organised for students in the spirit of socialization.
