Non communicative. Definitely was a major waste of my time and energy. Worked on getting info to them for a month and they still couldn't get it together. Single income? Single woman, don't waste your time with this group.

While I had no issues with the loan itself, getting in touch with these folks isn’t what it should be once the loan has closed. I was well aware they would sell my loan soon after closing but the first payment goes to them for processing. Two weeks ago I sent my payment. Last week I called a few times to the local number posted above. The answering machine identifies the receiving end as home services lending but no one ever called me back. Today, same outgoing message. I finally found a 1-855 number and spoke with Penny who seemed more concerned about how I could have found a different number than the actual reason I called which was to determine if my payment had ever been received. After several minutes of drilling down my questions in response to the vague answers I was getting (like: once we process it, we send it to accounting and should only take a couple of days). OK. When did you receive it? On the 7th. Has it been sent to accounting? Oh, Yes. But it’s the 13th now, shouldn’t they have processed it by now? Well, give it until the end of the week. Twenty years ago this would have been expected. But not with the technological advances we have made. To stay competitive, they will have to A: remedy their incorrect contact information available on the internet and B: find a speedier way to process payments. It should not take three weeks. If it were not for the issues I have had in reaching them and the delay in processing my payment I might have given them a 4.

You know the feeling. The one where you find the one, the home of your dreams. You plan out every room, which kids went in which room. You plan out what to change and what should be remodeled. Hopes and dreams start to build. That was us several months ago. Being a blended family we were so excited to find a house that would accommodate all 6 of us. It was like it was meant to be. Early on in this process our realtor explained that the particular house might be an issue since it wasn’t a typical cookie cutter. So we did the research and sought out a special lender. One that would take into account how special this particular house was since there are absolutely no comps to compare it too. We were assured by this lender that this would not be any problem at all. So we proceeded ahead. We started buying boxes and deciding what all went with us and were eagerly anticipating this new transition in our lives. And then one week, yes one week before closing they told us the loan was rejected due to the house not having any comps. One week before. All the dreams, all the plans came crashing down. So in short. Do not trust this place. They will ruin your dreams. Find a lender who doesn’t lie to you and can get it done.
