First time at Bolts (Honiton) and had a colour and cut today with Amie which has come out exactly as I wanted. Very polite and attentive staff which made my 5 hours in the salon very enjoyable. Would recommend this to anyone.
***RESOLVED BY MANDY (OWNER)*** I booked my daughter and wife in 2 weeks ago as a treat. I was quoted 168 total and told this was "worst case scenario" and would probably be cheaper. Alex (manager) has refused to do my wife's hair unless she pays extra for toner (15) and another 15 for something else. I have just visited the shop whilst my daughter is mid having her hair done and when questioned Alex started shouting at me and when I asked her to keep her voice down she told me it was "her shop" and that she would talk to me how she likes! Unprofessional, rude and they try to put extras on top after you've been quoted. AVOID - AVOID - AVOID ***UPDATE*** Tess (Manager) from the Axminster branch has just called me and agreed that the way in which Alex in Honiton has dealt with my family is unacceptable. She is now doing my wife's hair personally on Friday at 10am and is getting the owner Mandy to call me later today. Alex is a genuinely the rudest and most unprofessional person I have ever come across in my adult life. Businesses are disappearing from the high street at an alarming rate and Alex will drive customers away from the Honiton branch. ***FURTHER UPDATE*** Mandy the owner has fixed this issue tonight and fixed my daughters hair. She is brilliant and couldn't do enough for my daughter. A full refund given also. I stand by by original review of Alex, however Mandy & Tess have worked hard to resolve this issue and have done so. Well done.
