I have been to Hollies many times, but not for a year or so, so didn't really know what to expect, especially on a freezing start to the morning. But Rob has got the fishery looking very tidy, with clear water. Fish were showing from the start, but even so, Rob added more fish to the lake mid morning. All the pegs were booked and from Mid morning the fish started coming out. after some good advice from Rob, I bagged up with my 4 (3lb-4lb) and also lost 4 in the process, all in great condition. Best days fishing in a long time!

I'm a beginner and had my first ever fly fishing experience at Hollies, it was amazing. The tuition was very helpful and I would definitely recommend it to anyone seeking help learning to fly fish. Me and my Dad bought ourselves rods, reels and a couple of things to get us going and it was perfect and at a great price. The location is beautiful and the atmosphere was very friendly. I can't recommend this place enough!

Brilliant trout lake quality fish Rob the owner is very helpful at all times fished the lake on 2nd day and caught 6 beautiful rainbow trout all released to fight another day we will definitely be back
