Lovely food and service nice people. The place is done out nice as well. Shame about the covid so we couldn't stay as long as we would have liked.

Really warm welcome from every member of staff we met. The environment is relaxed and warm, too. Thoroughly recommend the sharing starter. Tasty food (although the dessert menu was a bit limited - I didn't partake). We had a lovely evening. Recommended ️

Delicious well-presented food. All dishes were well received by the 4 of us. A nice find in East Devon area and will definitely return. Pleasant ambience inside. Although on main road there is a canal running beside.

We went here yesterday and, Yes the food was good though extremely limited at this strange times. Not really a Gastro pub at the moment. Just one option for a real vegetarian (by this we mean one who does not eat fish even). The pricing was on the high side, though food was cooked to a good standard. We feel that maybe if we had booked we may have had a table upstairs, as the ambience was zero in the bar area. Staff were very attentive and Covid measures were carried out well. We believe that the choice of menu let it down and maybe reading the older reviews the menu was much better. Would recommend, though at the moment wouldn't go back.
