RES installed a grid tied self supply system on my home on the Big Island. They did a fantastic job managing all aspects of the project while I was off island. The quality of their install work was excellent. One of the panels had a rare manufacturing defect which revealed itself after the installation. RES responded by replacing the panel, despite the logistical challenges of working during the pandemic. This is great local company, and I would happily do business with them again.

We have worked with Renewable Energy Services on two projects at our home. Initially, we installed photovoltaic panels and recently we installed a backup battery system. These systems are not inexpensive; however, they are the prudent thing to do, especially while there are State and Federal energy tax credits available. I received a prompt reply to my initial inquiry..They provided good information about lithium batteries in an understandable form. Prices were right on with prices from the manufacturer and installation was reasonable. They also removed and recycled my lead-acid batteries the same day at a reasonable cost. They have answered all of my followup questions promptly and thoroughly. The crew arrived on time and worked efficiently even while answering my questions. They are knowledgeable as well. The accounting department was very efficient and timely. I can highly recommend Renewable Energy Service for solar installation. Our system is off-grid and providing all our energy needs.
