Great hike. Many trail loops to choose from. Uphill, downhill, twists and turns. Direct access to lake Michigan not a Vista. Coukd walk tge Beach there for miles. There is a walk in camp ground too, which means there's an outhouse, which was clean (hand sanitizer was frozen but to be expected).

Several options for different length hikes and decent signing on the trail. Very nice boat launch and small parking area. A nicer bulletin board and map with a digital option to purchase a pass at the site would be great. I would have purchased a pass but didn't want to drive back to a NPS office so rolled the dice and got lucky!
Great beginners trail as it's well groomed. Very beautiful! Took the Bass Lake loop. Bass Lake was very charming. Lots of mosquitoes though so come prepared.
Great trails, and peaceful lakes. No motors allowed.
Nice trail! Parts were amazingly beautiful!
We didn't actually go hiking, but the trails seemed nice. I sat by the water near the boat ramp for probably about an hour, reading and enjoying the nature around me. My brother fished for just as long. We ate dinner there next to the water, and had a really great time. There was so much beauty surrounding us and we could hear birds, frogs, and fish. A dragonfly even landed on me a couple times. My dog loved playing in the water and walking through the woods. Overall, it's just a great place to spend the day whether you're boating, fishing, hiking, or just sitting there.
Pleasant groomed trail, beautiful walk, not a lot of people. I was there to fish, it provided multiple access points to the lake.
Beautiful are with trails and a tranquil lake
