Calm, quite and a very peaceful place. One can get close to nature with many banyan trees and river Ganges flowing by it's side. The main attraction is the Abanindranath Tagore house which consists some of his renowned paintings, especially the Bharat Mata painting. There's even a library near the entrance. The visit to this place is free of cost.

Very beautiful place...the river Ganga is flowing beside it..tho the ghat is always closed....so sad In winter there is a wonderful collection of flowers...there are also snakes which I haven't seen..... therefore it is recommended to visit just in winter ...

Abanindranath Tagore's Bagan Bari(Garden house) is a historical place,picturesque spots and green grass in abundance.There are so many beautiful places on the historical place.you can easily spend some beautiful/interesting/Memories in this place.The premises is well maintained and very clean area.This place situated near by konnagar railway station (Bandel-Howrah Division)

This historical place in konnagar, where the great painter, Abanindranath Tagore came for relaxation, is recently renovated and opened for public. There is no entry fees and the ambience of the place is really beautiful. Though there is nothing to see inside the house you can definitely enjoy the wonderful view of Ganges from here.
