How we started Brood India is the cherished brain-child and a joint venture of two young and enthusiastic engineering graduates – Biswajyoti Biswas and Rajarshi Mondal. Both of them knew each other very well from their B.Tech days. After passing out, Biswajyoti was working with Tech Mahindra Ltd. as a Software Engineer and Rajarshi was pursuing his M.tech. But both had an indomitable zeal to do something different and for that they were constantly awake even in their dreams. All on a sudden, one day the idea of a ‘Brood’ for Indian Handicrafts came to their mind. In this era of online shopping, they found India’s authentic and overwhelming handicrafts sector stays somewhat neglected. This is where they thought of creating a consolidated and easy accessible platform to bridge this evident gap and help these marvellous creations reach every nook and corner of India.
