Nice place for a trip, the staff was very friendly, however there was no option to make bookings in advance neither online or over the phone and so after 1 hour journey we have been allocated to the group going down into the cavern after 2 hours of waiting. There were no toilets to be seen. We have been told that it will takes 50-60 minutes per tour. We have been in and out within 40 minutes exactly. Haven't had enough time to look around properly, we have been rushed around a lot I would say.

Well worth the journey and the cost. Delve 100metres below the surface into a natural formed cave system. Marvel at the formation of metals and semi precious gems.

Great place to visit and a great tourist destination would 100% recommend our tour guide was hilarious and we loved every second of it. I may come again and do another one of the tours as it was sooo worth it. Some great things to be seen inside these caverns. It’s nice knowing what’s on top but what’s underneath is breathtaking and really interesting too

A truly interesting look at a unique hidden treasure of the UK. Since at least the days of the Roman Empire people have appreciated Blue John for its aesthetic features, and the team at this mine will give you insight into the geology and history of the area. It's ideally situated for you to visit on a day's hike, or as part of a visit to the area as a whole. It's also just a few minutes walk from Mam Tor, another intriguing geological formation. Seen Blue John jewellery in the local shops? Why not come to the source, and meet the team that mine it? Helpful review? Hit that like button!

Thoroughly enjoyed the cavern, our guide was full of knowledge and was really friendly. We were very glad that tours were still on with covid, face masks must be worn at all times when in the cavern. Just to make you aware there are quite alot of tricky steps to navigate and can be very slippery but hand rails follow all the stairs. Also a short walk above the cavern there is a terrific view point with 360 degree views of the whole area.
