Great atmosphere. Loved the fact that this has been a tourist attraction for many many years and has not changed one bit. (Appart from the addition of motors to the boats). Although not as spectacular as other caverns in the area, the water passageways make it unique and definitely worth a visit

Well worth a visit. Take a boat trip down an old lead mine. Informative and entertaining. Parking opposite was around 4 but you get 2 back at the cavern even if you have booked and paid online in advance. We went on a Sunday in the morning and it wasn't too busy. As we were leaving the car park was packed.

Nigel our guide was very amusing and informative about the history. Even had us legging the boat along. Well done still operating during covid

Now it's need to booking, but if you arrive earlier it's a beautiful parking spot outside and great hiking area. You need to wear face mask (covid-19). The staff was very helpful and enthusiastic. Interesting story about the mining life. It could be scary for children or someone with claustrophobia, because it's dark and narrow tunnel. But my 2 years old son sleep through after five minutes.
