A very interesting replica of an old 11th century Norwegian church. The tour is very interesting and the quality of construction and attention to detail is very impressive. I didn't think I would be interested in a 1990s replica, but I found the tour very informative and fascinating, and the quality of work is excellent. Highly recommend the tour. Also gives you admission to see the Viking ship replica as well. You must get a museum ticket to go on the tour, but you do not need a ticket to see the exterior of the church.

Beautiful. Church is in a small park area and can be viewed from the outside without an admission fee. Can tour the inside of the church through the attached Viking ship museum. Beautiful especially on a snowy morning.
If your passing through the Area and happen to stop here it's worth taking a look at the church out back. It's got lots of fine gothic looking wood working and the tour guides tend to be nice. I typically check it out yearly during the Viking festival in Fargo and such.
Very cool stop on our trip to Fargo/ Moorhead. Well worth the10 price of admission
So cool. Loved taking the tour. We were the only ones so we got a "private" tour haha
Date of Visit: 10/13/2019 - Kevin was an excellent tour guide for the Stave Church. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all our questions. I would definitely recommend a visit/tour if you're ever in the area!
Wow, does it smell fantastic in here!
