All they care about is money. If you can get services somewhere else do it. Like a read in another comment they force services that are not helpful. One in particular therapist does not care at all about his patients and obviously does not want to do or even care about his job. If I could give them zero stars I would. NEVER GO HERE. They do not care to help you. They only care about getting your money period.

This business only cares about the money it’s obvious when you see that they’re forcing employees to come in to work even when the federal government said work should be done at home with webinars. I can see from my job that there wasting masks and other things thAt I’m sure they need at the hospital more then they’re they’re just careless and hope they get sued if someone gets sick so glad when they took them out of my kids school

My son gets services from Horizon behavioral health and I am trying to get him services some where else because the people here donot care at all and it shows through their work. They force services on you that are not helpful and get upset when you tell them that you don't want these extra unhelpful services. They cancel medication appointments and make you wait another month before you can receive a refill on your current medications. The therapy is a joke! Please, If you can go ANYWHERE else, RUN!!!

Don't go here if you have any other choice. We were told we had to come here or the ER for an assessment. They told us they could see us that evening but when we got there (on time) everyone had gone home. We came back the next day and were lied to and forced to go to the hospital. They were not helpful at all. Now I have a several-hundred-dollar bill for what was essentially coercion. They must get quite the kickback from the hospital. There are other therapists in Lynchburg; go to one of those. Like the other reviewer said - ANY OTHER PLACE.

My wife was referred here by her doctor and psychiatrists after her depression and anxiety became too much to deal with and started having suicidal thoughts. We questioned what sort of activities and therapy sessions would be involved in her day to day stay there before agreeing to check in. We were told it would be full of extensive and constant therapy, it would staffed round the clock by therapists and psychiatrists, and that my wife would get one on one time with the therapy and psychiatric staff. These were lies. The one of one therapy was nothing but group therapy, which was supposed to be an hour long but were more often than not 15 minutes. My wife tells me at one point therapy was cancelled but everyone was given paperwork to sign saying that it still happened. She never saw a psychiatrist in her 5 day stay. There was never one there. When she asked she was told \they will be here tomorrow.\ Tomorrow never came. Also, my wife had to sleep on the floor 4 out of the 5 days. Bedbugs. She was given too much of her medication every day and now she wont have enough until our next refill. She tried telling them she was only needed to take 2 of her anxiety meds a day because one before bed would we wasteful. They didn't care. She was accused of smoking every time she went outside to get fresh air. And finally, her ending discharge papers were written up to say that my wife is faking her anxiety and depression to get pills. I was there when she tried to kill herself. I had to handle that so she didn't die. This place was a waste of our time and my wife is no better than when she went in. I will say though that I've never seen her happier than when I picked her up. If that'd their way of helping someone deal with depression I would suggest you try ANY OTHER PLACE. ANY. OTHER. PLACE. Went to the one on Court st in Lynchburg VA.
