Visiting a friend nearby popped in for a pint and bite to eat. Friendly and efficient staff, chose the Guinness and Ale pie, very, very good, proper pastry full pie not just a crust topping, looked and tasted homemade, friend had chicken fajitas, he said as good as he has ever tasted. Village pub that offers special deals pretty much every night of the week, curry and pint on Tuesday's, all Steaks HALF PRICE on a Wednesday etc. If you live local or are visiting well worth a visit. Gave 5* For all round value, ambience and Staff.

It is a nice pub with a good size garden. Whilst there is nothing bad to say it lacks atmosphere and it was very quiet. I have been here on a few occasions, however this time I did not feel quite as welcome. As I said, it is a nice pub, just that this time it was not as nice as before.

Popped in on the weekend afternoon with the kids, the beer was not too expensive and they had a bouncy castle out in the garden. Friendly staff and atmosphere, we didn't eat anything there yet. We will be going back at some point.

Wonderful food and amazing service. Landlady went out of her way to provide a dish that wasn't on the menu from her personal stock. Thank you so much 5 stars isn't enough, will 100% be returning soon.

We found this place recently and we love it! Excellent food at reasonable prices. There is a bit of a wait for the meals, but it is worth it. The meals are served with lovely presentation and they were even able to serve large groups. Picnic area in the back makes it very family friendly as well!

Friendly staff. Large pub, mostly for food. Good sized garden for eating outside but no play area for kids. Staff are welcoming. Food looks good well-priced but I haven't eaten here yet so can't really comment. On my once-every-now-and-again list
