We stopped at Ye Old Six Bells for dinner while traveling for work. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This is such a great place to visit and a must if you are in the area. The food was lovely, so good that we came back two days later. We will definitely be back when we stop down here next.

Our Cooking Journey

We stopped here for a relaxing lunch and can't recommend this place enough! The pub itself is beautiful and full of character with lots of history, the food was great, but the highlight for us was the service. All the staff were so welcoming and attentive but we wanted to give a big shout out to Gok and Jordan who were lovely and really made our day. We can't wait to come back again

This is one of the best pub experiences I've had with my family. Our four kids were made to feel very welcome by our awesome server, Gok. The setting was beautiful with lots of character and history. We were fortunate to take advantage of the 50% off scheme that Vintage Inns was running. The food was OUTSTANDING. The sea bass and the super green salad in particular. Will return and bring others with us.

I visited with my wife and our new puppy, Ye Old Six Bells Public House, today Bank Holiday Monday, as part of the government’s ‘Eat out to help out’ scheme. Our experience was really positive. This was our first visit to a Pub since February due to COVID-19. From the greeting at the door until we left, our dining experience was really enjoyable. From the friendliness of the staff, to us, including our dog, to the delicious food and quality of service, this was an experience to savour. We will be back and soon! Thank you!

I love this pub. They have loads of really nice veggie food and the pub itself is lovley. The building is amazing The staff are also really nice. This is one of the best places to eat in Horley, if not the best.

Lovely cheerful waiter who met us on entry and explained COVID rules concisely. Kept an eye on us without being intrusive. Was helpful but not fawning. Despite it being a busy afternoon was unflappable and considerate. Wish I'd taken his name but we left a good tip as he deserved it.

I ordered the vegan roast, the tomato and almond option. Was told at time of ordering that this was out of stock but they did have nut roast which was fine. The waiter delivered my meal and informed me there was no vegan gravy. Offered me a selection of non vegan alternatives such as cheese sauce, regular gravy. Had I been informed when ordering that there was no gravy I would have ordered a different meal. Perhaps a sign of poor communication between kitchen and table staff. Still charged full price for this also which was very disappointing. I recommend customers bring their own gravy granules just to be sure
