We have just returned from seven nights at this wonderful CL. We have been staying here over the last 6 years and it just improves with age. Even with the Covid19 regulations, this site is a must on our caravanning calendar. It is beautifully maintained and the grounds are a natural habitat for a variety of birds and insects. The pond is a big attraction for wildlife and so are the tree walks and meadow. The views of the surrounding Lincolnshire Wolds countryside are lovely and the coast is just 30 minutes drive away. With the charming town of Horncastle and the historic town of Woodhall Spa (613 Squadron) close by as well as Snipes Dale Country Park and Nature Reserve there are lots of things to do and see. Highly recommended!

Arrived on 1st September 2020 and entered the site as per very informative information that had been sent to us via email. We found our pitch via the notice board at the entrance to the site. All very easy. The area was pristine in presentation and had a very relaxed feel to the place. We sited our van on a very level pitch.( I think pitch 5 and was the highest of all the pitches.) All amenities were of a very high standard and well placed. The grounds to this place are superb and our westie- Hamish loved it when it came to walkies. There is a very diverse network of paths around the caravan site plus the large pond and the grass had been cut to a very short level. The caravan site is set in a elevated position which gives some lovely views and during the day and at night it was fascinating watching the military fighter jets go about there training over the North sea. The owner of the site came to see us later on the first day and was a walking encyclopaedia when it came to local knowledge and further afield. He was good to talk to and is obviously very proud of his caravan and self catering set up. We weren't able to use the onsite toilets and showers ( due to sensible Covid 19 precautions.) but it didn't bother us as we had onboard facilities. The owner was not intrusive during our stay but around if you had any problems. There was hand gel available and asked for only one caravan at a time to use the water and chemical facilities as to aid social distancing which everyone was happy to do. I couldn't fault this Cl and would have no hesitation to use again when we are back in the area. All in all a 5 star experience. Thankyou.
