Ive been all over to pie n mash. Upton park. Bow. Etc. This is on par. Just as good. Meaty pies. Mash is lovely. Liquor is banging
This is not a proper \east end \ pie and mash shop. We went in there yesterday for lunch and the food was poor. The pies were quite small and did not look to be fresh at all, very dry. My wife and daughter had the eels which were thin and really small pieces, about 1 cm. long , pathetic portions. Most of us had really bad indigestion after eating here. We will not be going back again.

I am new to this review thing so I'm trying to share my experiences about places I've used many times. Personally I have visited this place at least once a fortnight as I work in Hornchurch. Me and my colleagues visit between 1 and 3 o'clock during their busy times. The food is always hot the pies are not soggy the filling is always tasty the mash is never lumpy. I don't have much liquor but my colleague swamps the plate and spills it all over the table. The staff have always been polite kind and very friendly to us. One is very sweet indeed. I once put sugar on my food and salt in my tea by mistake and they replaced everything even though it was my own fault. I thought that was extremely good service.
