I understand is a charity and I greatful for it. Unfortunately they way they speak to you is horrible, if it was the first time I will let go but is mostly everytime and from almost every member of the staff.

Never met such rude unhelpful staff in any charity shop when trying to donate. Will not be coming back !

Really good stock. I have no problem with any of the staff. Some items may be slightly expensive.

I used to volunteer in this shop until I moved away from the area. The shop gets lots of donations in. Sadly people often donate absolutely horrendous things: used toilet brushes, dirty underwear, used mouth brushes, food out of date, creams out of date, used dirty toilet seats and the list goes on. Of course they do get lovely items too, such as bric & brac and clothes. Someone said they were coming every day for a month to see if their stock was out or not. What an utter nonsense. That person could come afternoon and stock got sold morning. Or it could have been electrical item which is being sent to other cancer store as they're not alowed to sell electricals. Unless you're in that shop 24/7 standing don't tell me you would know if an item was out or not. Impossible. They also don't sell winter clothes in summer,as that is being stored away. And summer clothes are not being sold in winter. Again, stored away. When I used to work there, the amount of people trying to return dirty broken items or items not originally bought in the Cancer Research store was unbelievable. So of course staff will refuse a return of an item not bought in their shop. All staff is mainly elderly and everyone is lovely. Music is always playing and lots of nice items to look at. Keep up the good work guys.
