Never order from this place unless you like losing a stone in weight before your food arrives. Ordered through just eat, 2hrs later still no food. Called, and was told the food had just been started to be cooked. Ridiculous, if you are that busy, don't accept the order in the first place. All they offered was a free drink.

Hubby normally collects our food and haven't had a problem but he's working and I decided to order online via their website rather than Just eat. Ordered late 9pm and food eta was given as 10. It's now way past that. No food and no phone call. I get the feeling they don't monitor the website. They shouldn't have the order online option if thats the case.

My partner and I often buy from Happy Family not only for their quality of dishes but friendly customer services on every visits. To be honest can't comment on other dishes as we always order the same: beef and black beans sauce, sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style, Monk vegetables, salt and pepper prawns and beef hor Fan. These are always hot and tasty as well Good portion. I highly recommend this and the only Chinese takeaway within Hornchurch that makes beef fried hor Fan.

We chose dishes rather than a set meal and it was good portions, dishes had plenty of meat and nice mix of veg. Not greasy. Would certainly go there again.
