I recently pass the test with him and with only 2 minors in first attempt. Isn’t it great? So I do recommend taking lessons with him. He is very good, kind and experience. Thank you so much again.

He tore my confidence completely. Did over 12 WEEKS with him, 2 hour lessons, twice a week. Still argued my driving was not good enough. Took a break and went to another instructor, within 10 hours I received my licence! He is rude, racist and misogynistic. He doesn't even finish lessons on time, he dropped me off every time 5-10 minutes early. He is racist against Muslims, making reference to they’re full faced veils and how they can’t see and thus should not be on the road as they will cause accidents. He often would comment and say \I f***ing hate P*kis\. He never used to give me the change from what I paid him. He would use his mobile phone during lessons. He said I would get a minor every-time I did not change my gears correctly. This is a lie, they only do this if it one’s gear changes are consistently inconsistent. He kept teaching me the three point turn. Something that if taught once would have been enough as it is no longer in the practical tests! But he kept on wasting time with it! He would say about pedestrians jaywalking, ‘run them over, they deserve it’. He threatened that if I go to another driving school, DVLA/DSA would see that someone is using my provisional licence and will terminate it. He recorded classes without adhering to GDPR regulation. This is not a dash-cam we are speaking about, but a full camera in the back seat. When I asked if I could have the last lesson's recording, he said it was deleted.
Don’t waste your time with this incompetence, wherever intentional or not, driving instructor. This instructor has knowledge of test routes, at least for the Hornchurch Test Centre, however has not learned the basic aspects of teaching like: • Don’t shout at students as it doesn’t help especially in supposedly dangerous situations, it is better to help control the car, if needed, and find a safe stopping place. • Have at least some structure to the lessons and a plan that focuses on weak areas as it is how you track and make progress. As a result of the second point, it is not surprising of the inability to estimate the time required to prepare a student for a driving test. Lessons become unproductive the more you take them. When you have no driving experience and no point of reference, it will take much longer to spot an incompetence instructor as my wife did. I made the mistake of not paying close attention to what she was learning in her lessons. After we switched to another instructor, none of the above problems occurred as one would expect from a more competence instructor. We are glad our neighbour, who has a foreign driving license, had also decided to switch instructor as they observed and tolerated the same signs of incompetence for more than long enough. I would suggest taking your driving lessons with an instructor recommended by someone you know and trust. Otherwise pick a driving school without well-reasoned negative reviews.
Instructor review The wife praised me all the time and was always saying how good i was Unfortunately it is my decision when they are ready to take test as i have not only got to think of the publics safety, safety of the examiners, other drivers, and my reputation BUT also the safety of the pupil. The test was booked and when told she was not ready and to the standard the husband MR VU did not want to accept my decision.23 years plus of teaching so in reality his opinion is respected as his view. However modern day Video CCTV fitted in vehicles backs up my point.
poor overall
