Would like to thank Shelly's for an organised first opening after lockdown. Owner was constantly running around making sure everything was as safe as possible and she came to us regularly to as if we were ok. If you wanted to socially distance you could. Obviously there were the few that didnt but we were able to and enjoyed our evening. Thank you!!

This place is lovely! Food is good and drinks are great! Had my first ever Orange Gin and Tonic here and I'm converted! It was so good! All new and clean inside with lovely outside area to sit in the summer! Totally recommend this place!

40 a head for set menu of limited choice not value for money. Only choice of two white wine, with big mark up price. Don’t go there if you have a food allergy as they don’t cater for you, had to bring my own bread and afters as they don’t do gluten free choices (in this era).their web site states they do cater for food allergies but obviously not gluten. Check your bill carefully as conveniently omitted our 10 per person deposit, and the 5 off for my meal which they had agreed to when we booked. Felt the night was rushed re dining experience but entertainment good

I booked Shelley's for Fathers Day and was really pleased I did! I loved the new décor, especially the 'flower wall' and the beautiful mirrored pictures. The food was delicious and considering Shelley (the owner) was one man down (one of the chefs) on a busy day the service was impeccable. I ordered the chicken wings starters and lamb shank for main. All the food was piping hot and the lamb shank was so tender, it was falling off the bone. The side dishes was fairly generous! No request was too big for the waitress staff either. The restaurant was playing some fab tunes in the background, not too low and not too loud and there was plenty of room between tables, no over crowding and it was nice to walk outside if you needed some fresh air or a cigarette. I cannot wait to go back and try the pork belly and have a dessert this time (if I am not too full!) Thanks again for making Fathers day a hit for my dad and my boyfriend. Laura
