The Tandoori Lounge Special Platter features a selection of chicken, lamb chops and kebabs, then the Sabji Tawa Special is the vegetarian version and features everything from tandoori sweet potato to okra and paneer. There’s lots on the Tandoori Lounge menu that’s gluten-free and suitable for vegans, too, making this an Indian restaurant perfect for everyone and whatever your casual occasion might be. They took great care with each detail of the dishes. As some of the dishes we needed spicy and others not! The food was piping hot on arrival and we enjoyed everything. The food was presented so well and the portion sizes were large enough that we had leftovers for the following day and we are big eaters! Overall we had such a pleasant experience that we can’t wait to order and also be able to go their with our friends. What’s really nice is how I felt that they went above and beyond to really make us happy!

Quality Punjabi restaurant that does not serve halal meat for it’s Indian and non Muslim clientele. Food and service was excellent throughout. The Mix Grill is highly recommended.

I've been to Tandoori Lounge several times with friends and finally got the chance to visit as a family. As always, it did not disappoint. There's so much to choose from and the owner, Honey was on hand to advise which dishes the children would like, as well as how much food to order. The food is amazing and the lamb chops, as with every visit were the star of the show, followed by the chocolate samosas, wow! The service is always so good. Thank you for an enjoyable evening.

My Food & Drink Life

It was great to be back at the Tandoori Lounge today to continue our support not only for the hospitality industry but also local businesses in my hometown of Hornchurch. We managed to support them during lockdown by ordering takeaways but were really missing not being able to dine in the restaurant itself. We entered on Sunday and straight away there is a hand sanitizer on the table directly in front of you. The staff were wearing face shields and there was plenty of space between each table. So all precautions were taken care off. I started with a pint of Cobra the perfect beer for Indian food while we looked at the menu. The menu is quite extensive and offers a fabulous selection of the finest Punjabi Cuisine and don't forget to enquire about their Vegan & Gluten Free options. We decided to start with the Chilli & Garlic Mogo which are fried cassava cooked in garlic , soya & chilli sauce. We also ordered the Tandoori Paneer Tikka this is an Indian cheese marinated in yoghurt and cooked in a clay oven and the Lamb Chops marinated in lemon , herbs & spices. Now it was on to our mains where we chose the Jhinga Karahi these are king prawns mixed with herbs & spices , the Tandoori Lounge Special Lamb which is boneless pieces of lamb cooked Punjabi style , Tandoori Bhartha a delightful smoked aubergine dish , Steamed Rice & Tandoori Roti. I finished with a fabulous Pistachio Kulfi an Indian style ice cream to round off another fantastic visit to the Tandoori Lounge. I really would highly recommend a visit here so you can enjoy some of the finest Punjabi Cuisine. This definitely is the best Indian Restaurant in Essex and I'm so lucky that it's in my hometown of Hornchurch. Thank You to owners Sukh , Honey and our waitress Chloe for looking after us today and look forward to seeing you all again soon. #SupportHospitality

Hi, well i was invited for a party! I really like the ambience and the quality of food plus the presentation but i was disappointed by the food taste as some lacked salt and some lacked flavour and taste ...though the staff was really good and friendly ..I wonder my friend who threw the party how they must be feeling as the food lacked taste and flavour and for what it was priced for!! ....and as i recommended Tandoori lounge to them i was a bit disappointed myself..... Best wishes.
