Alison, Phil and Andrew aren't just the face behind the bar, no they're the old friends that welcome you with open arms every time you open their door. I'd go as far to say as they're the most hospitable host in all of Havering! They know everything you want/need to know about the drinks on offer and they're yet to make a recommendation I've not enjoyed. The Hop Inn is a firm staple of living in Hornchurch and long may it continue.

Obviously it wasn't open as a pub at the moment, but they are doing off sales. The 2 men inside were very friendly and helpful . Their knowledge of their products was superb (They try all the products when they come in) so I was able to purchase a selection as per the tastes that I required. A very enjoyable experience.
A great little pub and off-licence, very knowledgeable and helpful. If you want to try something different, this is the place!
This place is just a GEM. The staff are so, so lovely and helpful and will always take the time to give you tips and advice on drink choices. Their beer list is just amazing with beers from all around the world and a constant changing draft with something for everyone - a lot of microbreweries usually have similar types of beer on draft but The Hopp Inn really try to provide a variety on their drafts which means I've been able to try some super interesting beers and they have always been amazing! Not a beer lover? They also have a superb and varied list of wines and spirits! They sometimes run tasting sessions too which I haven't been able to do yet but have signed up for in the future! The location is pretty small so you can't always grab a seat when its busy but the vibe is really cozy and decor is modern and stylish. Please come and support this incredible small business as you will not be let down :)
Great selection of beers, ciders and gins. Staff are really welcoming and have great knowledge of their products. Lovely atmosphere as well. Recently we went for their beer tasting evening which was fantastic.

The Hop Inn, Is honestly the best, pub, bar, micro-pub - Drinking establishment I have ever visited. All for 2 very simple reasons firstly, the drinks, They have the finest and most interesting versions of everything you can imagine from incredible craft beers to mind blowing whiskeys. If you are looking for something special this is the place to go. And secondly, perhaps surprisingly, the best thing about the Hop Inn is the staff. Alison, Phil, Andrew, Danny & Fraser are true experts, in every sense of the word. From remembering (most of,) the abundant and ever changing menu, Incredible warmth and friendliness, to their eagle eyed empty-glass detection.These guys know their stuff. I've wanted to write a review for a long time about the hop, but at a time when they're about to re-openish, due to covid restrictions, there couldn't be a much better time. The hop Inn is run by the most passionate owners you could imagine, sourcing the best beer, ciders and other delights to ensure the customers enjoy the drinks and atmosphere as much as they do. Perfectly run micro pub, that I only wish I could visit more often
