We had an awesome experience in this spot. We liked the great environment and the meals. The staff members are super friendly. I am happy we finally decided to visit this place.

We were travelling some distance and on impulse decided to book a hostelry on the way home, this was our choice looking at the great value of the menu We were acknowledged on arrival, shown to our table by the excellent Matt, who'd also been very good on the phone call. Festive menu as requested was provided, we order at the bar and starters arrived promptly, duck pate was tasty, prawn and salmon cocktail was nice, generous prawns but a little stingy on the salmon Mains weren't long, tidily presented, the root veg roast was amazing, as a Flexitarian this really hit the spot, the Roast Turkey was piping hot. Dessert lemon Meringue cheesecake, change done for ice cream, lush and delicious A great visit, must again thank the superb young Matt
Pub / Restaurant seating spaced out but still nice atmosphere. Food orders arrived quickly. Staff are friendly but strict (in a nice way) making you aware of the clear Covid safety guidelines which was great to see. Great experience given current pandemic situation ! Well done to all the staff - will definitely be back !
Great pub, staff are lovely and so accommodating. Not an easy job at the moment with all the new restrictions but they are doing a great job. Deffo recommend this pub for drinks and food
Pleasant visit to the Railway. Nice decor. Two decent ales on. Pleasant service from the bar staff. If you are taking your car and parking on site it's very important to add your registration number to the console in the pub so you don't receive a parking fine.
Watch out for the ANPR monitored car park. During covid you have to pre book your arrival or take your chances on getting in. You have to register on entrance both your lead visitor and car Reg to avoid a parking fine
Great place to meet and catch up with some old friends. Chilled, relaxed and Covid safe environment.
Nice eniuf but hell of a lot of product not available - even bottled beers and spirits which have a long shelf life. App also not as good as green kings app.
