Friendly cafe staff and well prepared food. Some items somewhat over priced. But can't complain
Lots going on at the Floral Hall, events, cafe, second hand books, small beach items shop and films. Great sea views. Car Park - free for 3 hours, then a hefty fine. If attending an event and then going to the cafe going over 3 hours, hand your car registration number onto the Cafe staff. Accessibility - mixed, different levels internally, if you can't manage stairs, then you need to go into the Cafe to ask for the disabled access on the sea front to be opened (if closed). Ramp inside the main hall to the upper level and mens loo. Access to the Ladies and Cafe by staircase or outside for a ramp in and out of the hall. See toilets below. Cafe - popular, as a veggie, I don't order meals there, just Teacakes as on a previous visit, my Chips and Eggs were cooked with someone's bacon as evidenced by the bits on my plate. Toilets - Ladies (also ladies disabled loo) in the cafe. Men's and their disabled loo in the main hall.

It was fine. Easy to order coffee. Clean and today.
We as a family have been going to the cafe for years and have always enjoyed it. The food is good and you have a great view of the sea. But unfortunately I received a parking fine after a visit in January when we parked in there car park and got a takeaway meal form the cafe. Long story short we went for a walk and totally underestimate d the time to walk back so we was late and thats why we got a fine. But what I'm most annoyed about is that upon calling the cafe to kindly ask them to maybe get the fine cancelled,all I got was a snotty rude and woman stating that they won't help me. Fair enough I understand its our own fault but I would have atleast expected them to cancel it so now its just cost me 130. I've had similar situations where we have stayed at hotels wct and we have been patrons and they have cancelled it but not with the cafe so we will not be visiting the cafe again.
