A good pub. Very aware of and eager to follow the government guidelines. Absolutely thorough. Cleanliness was outstanding. Maybe as staff were so focused on this service was slow. Views of seascape were amazing. Food was good and the hospitality excellent. It all felt very safe, welcoming with staff doing their very best in the hardest of circumstances.

They are taking social distancing and cleaning very serious. Well done! I wish everywhere will be the same. Staff is doing the extra mile for you. If I will be somewhere close definitely going back. Food was nice hot and quick! Thank you!
Friendly staff who helped make our experience the best it could be but food was pretty basic.. nachos starter sharer was simple - but we still liked it - and the kids had nuggets, pizza and sausage. Probably the best was sundaes and excellent price we got. Decent location too being right by the sea. Football playing in the background wasnt too distracting. Social distancing rules well planned for
Went for a meal here with my grandson. Staff made us feel safe and welcome. Food was good, service was good. We liked the way the staff reduced the handling by asking us to remove drinks etc from the tray. This made us feel safer.
Really dirty and grubby. Waited 30 minutes for drinks after we had eaten food. My child burnt himself on a plate as a member of staff handed a boiling hot plate to him!! He is 5. With no option to reply to the below comment... staff returned with cold at MY request after stating he had burnt himself, I also made you aware it had been ran under water on premises- shame you chose not to follow your correct protocol
Was told 20 minute wait on food but waited an hour. Then another 25 minutes for dessert. Average food over all and the chicken tikka was lacking in chicken and taste. Staff were lovely though and great social distancing and cleanliness so I've boosted an extra star.
whilst visiting the marine pub in Hornsea we fully understood the importance of track and trace but while sitting outside the man on the door turned at least 20 people away because they didn't have a mask surely he could have a supply to give out !! It was a shame as such alot of money to the business was lost .we thought the food and service was perfect just a bit of a jobs worth on the door !!
Lovely landlady called Linda. Very clean and Covid safe I felt. Right on sea front. Nice place to visit. X
