I always enjoyed my visits to the wrygarth Inn before the coronavirus happened and I shall look forward to visiting again when the virus is over!

Lovely countryside inn. Just off the Trans Pennine Trail so perfect place to stop off. Very dog friendly with outside seating and indoor dog-friendly area. Good range of craft ales & delicious burgers.

Had Lunch here yesterday and the food was exceptional. Fillet steak and steak pie and two empty plates, also had a pudding each, again two empty plates. The only advice I would give them would be to be a little more attentive to the customer. Not once were we asked if the food was ok until the plates were being cleared. Also might be a good idea to say to customers when they are paying ' thank you for for coming and hope to see you again' as there was none of that when we left. It's just those little personal touches which lift the whole experience to another level. That said, we will be back

We really enjoyed our lunch at this homely friendly local. Fantastic home cooked food lovely friendly service covid safe and very dog friendly. Crazy golf was a fabulous bonus we had the course to ourselves. Will definitely revisit when next in the area. Walked here with my Cocker Spaniel from Hornsea along trans pennine walkway 1 hours walk recommended to other dog walkers

Not been for around 5 years so thought I'd seize the chance during the "Eat out to help out" scheme. Not highly impressed as they acted as though the "Eat out to help out" scheme came out of their own pocket, hardly any choice on the menu and scrimped on portion size & quality. I wouldn't have signed up for the scheme if it aggravated you in any form. However the gentleman was polite & professional welcoming us in but it fell apart after that unfortunately as this used to be quite a fine establishment 5 years ago.

Me and my partner came here just on a whim. Must say the lady and gentleman running the joint were very lovely, Great homecooked food and a lovely setting. Very warm cosy feel to the place. See you again soon

Lovely, very welcoming country pub. Called in tonight for a meal with my wife and kids. Great mains and really nice desert. Highley recommended.
