A must for history nerds who are interested in the everyday life of the working class in denmark. There are some great interactive learning opportunities for adults and kids alike.

Really interesting - go visit the appartments

Interesting place. Seems on some moments as you are in smaller Old Town Aarhus. Cool part is that they actually start some of the machines while visitors are in the museum.

A very nice museum which contrary to its name showcases not only industrial era machines but also classrooms, a bank agency, a tabacco manufacturing room and more. Worth the visit!

In case you visit Horsens as a foreigner, this museum is definitely worth checking out! Eventhough, all information at the museum is in Danish, one can still see, smell, touch and taste the experience of the old Danish professions and way of living. I don't know if they do any guided tours in English, but if you pay for my intrance fee (70 DDK), I might show you around myself (if I've got time to do it). I work as an English teacher nearby, and I take my own students there once every year.

Amazing collection of Diesel engines, printing presses, office equipment, household stuff, workshops... etc... from every era. Well worth visiting!

Wonderful place, with a very interesting theme. Totally with a visit, especially when you are interested in Urban expansion and industrialisation.
