We have been so pleased with the bungalow renovation plans Paul has designed for us. Throughout the design process Paul took note of our requirements and discussed options. The planning application process was completed with no problems. Paul was available to us for help and advice and in contact with the contractors throughout the building project, which gave us reassurance and ensured compliance with the design and our needs. We have now completed ‘phase 1’ of our works, an open plan kitchen and dining area and extension for the lounge with an apex roof. It looks great and enhanced by the lovely finish the contractors achieved. Paul is very approachable and enthusiastic about design and has achieved a fantastic outcome for us. Another \Glazed Gable End Scheme\ nearly completed...
Having decided to change architects for our granny annexe project (having employed an architect who just drew something that looked like a box, with dubious measurements), we came across Eye For Detail Architects. Paul was immediately interested in the project and reassured us that he could produce a design suitable for our needs, and he certainly did that. As per the company name, the level of detail was very good. Paul took on board our requests, as well as the design of the main house, to ensure the new build was all in keeping with the style. Paul provided thorough plans which made getting through planning permission plain sailing. Paul remained available for any queries that we or the builder had during the build phases, and the final result was a spacious and attractive granny annexe which has been much admired by us as well as friends and neighbours.
Drawings were not completed and fireplace detail drawings, although part of the contract, could not be produced for building regs as not insured for that work. Detailed construction drawings never produced. Avoid
Our project is now complete and we are very pleased with our beautiful home with added WOW factor designed by Paul. Also appreciated the many tips and recommendations provided which helped us achieve value for money. Would recommend.
