Teaching my youngest son to fish and he's catching common carp and mirror carp around 4lb to 5lb. Can't wait to get back there on my own and catch some of the nice double figure carp they have in there.

A fantastic fishery for both beginner and experienced alike

Very well manicured, and picturesque lakes. Saw 2 lakes but poss 3? However couldn't find any facilities, not that I expected any. Had a 14lbs carp out, stocked with bream and other smaller species also, including eels. Some features in the bottom lake but a little limited in the margins. Probably down to spawning but very quiet, several good sized swims, most anglers didnt have a bite let alone a run but again probably due to season. Lots of space for small families and/or a big bivvy if you get the right swim and lots of grassy and shaded areas around swims. Good sized carpark. Little to no phone reception around here but may just be EE. Overall very pretty looking lakes and the bailiff seems nice enough, will return hoping to have better success netting a few more carp though!
