Lovely park for a walk. Lots of bird life including kingfishers. Fun dinosaur play area for kids & cafe for refreshments.

It has a amazing walk by the trees and see lots of wildlife on the way. You can see a family 7 swans including 5 cygnets (baby) if you are lucky. There is a large park dinosaur theme. It is suitable for all ages (as well as little ones). You can also pay for kayaks and paddle boards to spend 1/2 an hour on them.

It was open even in lock down however the social distancing was observed and there was a open takeaway service in the cafe. The park was extremely wet as it had rained hard all night but muddy shoes are really not important in comparison to the joy of being out and breathing fresh air.

Beautiful place great for family lovely cafe. Busy at the moment with covid so early mornings are much quieter

We visited the park for the dinosaur playground and we were not disappointed. The playground itself has things for kids of all ages and they all seemed to enjoy the dinosaur theming. The walk around the lake is also very pleasant and whilst we visited during the covid pandemic, the cafe still had a lovely selection of treats and drinks, which satisfies the sweet toothed.
