A restaurant with history it is. Best sea food at Malvan, tarkarli. You will get all variety of sea food delicacies made typically Sindhudurg konkani style. To name some iut if many, prawns, crabs, pomfret, and many different fish here. Solkadhi is must try after your meal.
Good food expect the fish curry.If you are outsider or not from kokan then you might not like the curry. Fried fish are great in both quality and quantity. If you are outsider I suggest to take prawn or chicken thali and take separate fried fish dish or you can just order fried fish dish and dal rice. Don't forget to take masala pan from shop in front of the hotel it's just cost 10 Rs. and quantity is much more than the cost.
The food is good, a little pricey, but authentic Malvani taste. But you cannot enjoy the food as their is a big problem with ventilation there. Everyone is sweating. And the place gets too crowded and the staff expects you to have food quickly and leave..... More customers so more money.
A must visit place of you are visiting Malvan. Very nice and tasty authentic Malvani food and with very good prices. Only thing is that you have to wait in queue.
Decent food not that great i would say solkadi was amazing fish curry wasn't good at all but this the the problem with every hotel in malvan they never give us shallow fried fish but always deep fried which according to me doesn't tastes well overall its good than other hotels in that area
