Amazing respite in the heart of the D-Day area! Our family stayed here for a full week during the 75th Anniversary of the D-Day landings and couldn’t have asked for anything better. Our hosts were warm, welcoming and provided us with relevant information and friendly conversation. We loved their lab - Rolo! This Gite is much larger than the photos suggest and comfortably served our family of 6. It had everything we needed to make breakfast and dinner every day and also enough space to entertain some friends. It was a quick drive to St Marie du Mont with a small shop for the essentials and then another 10 minutes to Carentan for anything else. The fenced yard is spacious and calming and provided such a relaxing area to spend time it. Thank you Chris and Celia - this vacation was amazing because of you and your Gite (And Rolo)!

Spent two nights in this amazing place as part of a cycling holiday with some friends. Set in the lush countryside of Normandy, it’s quiet and picturesque. If you are interested in local history it’s within easy reach of many attractions. The owners are lovely and I’d love to return there sometime. Thanks for a lovely time!

We spent a very special and relaxed week in March 2018. Everything we expected and more! Beautiful accommodation and hosts who couldn't do enough to make the stay perfect. Stunning area.

The most beautiful barn conversion with fabulous owners who truly go out of their way to help you and ensure you have a fantastic stay. The welcome basket we received of croissants, wine, cheese, butter, jam, baguette, milk, eggs, fruit, tea, coffee, beer was utterly perfect and just what we needed after a morning crossing on the ferry and in need of a spot of lunch. The gite is decorated to a very high standard, the bedrooms are beautiful and the beds so very comfortable. The main living area is cosy and so very relaxing especially in winter (when we stayed) with the log burner on, in fact it was very hard to leave to go out sightseeing. Would highly recommend a stay.
