After we did a walk in the Fairy valley (recommended!!) we went for lunch/diner here. We waited 5-10min to be seated. Pro tip: walk inside and don't stand next to the \stand here to be seated\ people will spot you but won't help. The food itself felt very local/authentic to la chouffe. We had a steak mushroom sauce and a pork in Mc Chouffe Dragon sauce. Both were very well Arno the pork was very specific. I would recommend it to try tho. Service is slow overall and very messy.

Newer review: We indeed came back and as a result of the experience we upgraded the review from 4 stars to five. The ambiance is very nice and cosy with a wooden fire burning in the center of the dining room. The food was truly excellent with an amazingly fresh and delicious trout. The rabbit leg was also very nice and so where the deserts. Not to forget the locally produced famous beer which unfortunately as the driver I didn't get to drink but everyone else liked it. The staff was very friendly and polite. We did enjoy ourselves and will come back when we have the next opportunity. It is recommended to make a reservation as the place could be quite busy. Old review: Very cosy atmosphere and surprisingly decent prices for Belgium. We plan to come back.

Nice and really cozy restaurant, in a tiny village. The surroundings look nice both inside and outside. Prices are preety good, and staff is helpful. It would be helpful to make a reservation so that you can land a table in the room with a fireplace. Surprisingly crowded considering the location.
