Receptionist and nurse were absolutely lovely. Gyno is the reason for the low review. Rude bedside manner and considering how much of a personal situation going to the gyno is, you'd think they would be a bit more sensitive and understanding.

I have resently spent a week in Icar after been in sunderland hospital after having contracted corona virus,I must say the care I got at Icar was excellent and I would like to say many thanks to all who looked after me at this very worrying time ,I am glad to say I am now at home and still getting support from the NHS .once again many thanks .jim Irwing

Never again! Receptionist unfriendly ultrasound technician abrupt unfriendly non informative not helpful. I think they need to attend a patient care course.

Terrible uncaring attitude by a member of staff. No communication skills what so ever. Left in agony by this new member of staff who did not care one bit. Her attitude was disgusting. I will be making a formal complaint which I've never done in my life.

Recently been to the out of hours clinic in the Houghton urgent care centre after not been able to get an appointment with my GP (constantly tried for a couple of week). Got in straight away, seen an amazing GP who listened to my concerns and I received the best care. Couldn't be more grateful especially as someone who works full time.
