Well laid out and nice environment. Staff are pleasant an polite and the food is lovely. They cater for parties and larger groups. Well worth a visit. It's easy to find with plenty of parking on site. It is based in an old pub but the conversion is lovely. You can also see the food being cooked. We have booked for Mothers Day as we came here lady year and had a great meal.

Great evening on Thursday The ambiance when we arrived was great. The food was exceptional and very well presented. The staff were very attentive and all in all we had a great time and we will be going again

Loved it here the service is very good as is the quality of the food and with so many menu choices. This place is a gem and I highly recommend it to everyone. I would book ahead of time because it's busy. Two mid size car parks on either side of the building. You won't regret it the staff are helpful and friendly. Thank you for a great food experience
Tasty, high quality food. All parts of our meal arrived quickly, in less time than expected and were very well made. We were a group of 15 and everyone, both adults and children, thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Service was efficient, friendly and polite. Our first visit but we'll go back. Not cheap but not overly expensive and definitely worth the extra couple of pounds for quality.
Lovely food. Nice staff. Only issue was having two of our party waiting for their food whilst the rest of us had almost finished. Other than that, everything was great.
I was really pleasantly surprised. The menu is huge and there was 13 of us going so we were a little bit wary about the quality of the food and the service we'd receive but I can safely say, all the meals were excellent, from the fish, to the lamb shank, to the curry. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. And there was exactly the right amount of time between courses. I'll definitely be back
Owner, Kishor Patel has not only transformed this restaurant from a rowdy pub, once known as The Dog and Duck, but he has established a standard of transporting cultural cuisine experts to ensure the quality and authenticity of his food – no matter what genre of eating you desire. He has on the menu: American Grill, Indian, British, Italian, Tex Mex, and a Green selection for the vegetarians and healthier eaters amongst us. The Butter Masala Curry was mine and Ed’s favourite of the night. This decadent dish was served with rice & naan and we both tried the Chicken option. It also comes with a few other choices of Prawn, Lamb, Vegetarian, or Paneer. It is stated on the menu as “spicy” but wasn’t overbearing with spice or heat, and it was a nice touch with the sweetness of the sauce. Loving a good curry, I was impressed with the rich and sweet flavour, and very impressed with the portion and amount of chicken it had in it. The sauce is made with a special creamy coconut butter sauce. Honestly, the best part of this sauce was dunking my chips into it as it was so delicious! Thank you Go Houghton for such a lovely selection of food, and great customer service!
