Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Efficient, regular shuttle bus. Friendly attentive service. The car I hired was a brand new Peugeot 208 with 3 miles on the clock when I collected it! Had to return the car early as my circumstances changed. Europcar couldn't have been more helpful, and I will 100% be using them again!

Do not use them. We rented a car for 61 days with Europcar and somehow the agent who produced our contract, despite being very helpful, only authorized us for 30km/day, or 18 miles. This barely gets you out of the vicinity of Heathrow. Multiple calls to Europcar produced promises that they had made an error and would correct, given that their UK manual says the minimum is 30 miles for long-term car hire, however they never fixed and have not responded. Hundreds of pounds in excess mileage charges later, we are still disputing this charge with our credit card company. AVOID THIS RENTAL CAR AGENCY.

For the first time after renting 10 times in the UK, had to go through an incredibly long address check with details that I've used with Europcar before. Curious enough, the same card - which is only used for car rentals - got in the hands of scammers and victim of a failed fraud; not pointing fingers but I don't understand the need of these duplicate checks where someone holds my credit card for an unnecessary long period of time. Had to wait 30 min for a car that was available from the start, and they tried to convince me to pay for an upgrade which would result in the same category as the one I ended up having. The car was full of spiders (caught 4 during a 1 week rental).
