Busy and big airport with good security and proper information system. My transit was smooth and comfortable. wifi is patchy and power outlets for charging phones and laptops are not sufficient considering the number of travellers wanting to use them... some of them do not work! other than its a good place with shops and restaurants to keep you busy during layover.

Clean, well posted signs and the trains run regularly. Security checks the cars each time passengers deboard so that unattended packages are not left behind. I also saw people cleaning and disinfecting seats.

This airport has improved from what it used to be some 25-30years back, its better with the technological and IT improvements and the spreading of terminals, what I think need to be done is the transportation link. Its old fashion to use buses instead of trams or trains as its done in the civilized world for transits and interconnection. Above all, United Kingdom as an old empire will continue to prove themselves as the most respected empire and nation of the past.

A convenient, and clean waiting area with a good free WiFi coverage. There is no phone charging stations though.

Went down the escalator, to my surprise I was greeted by a holographic person xD. (First time seeing one in person.) Simply explaining what gateways the mini airport train stops at. It dawned on me later that this is one of Heathrow's attempts at reducing face to face interaction, props to them.(at the time of posting, there's an on going 'pandemic') Although I nearly missed my train busy being distracted by this new encounter XD. Very good experience trough T5.

What can I say about the T5 Track Transit system. As a user of the system all I can say is that its reliability is fantastic, always on schedule to the timetable and runs for roughly 20 hours a day. The trains are clean and there are enough hand rails for everyone. It's nice to look out the front towards the views of the tunnel and pretend you are the train driver. The stations are clean with clear announcements and a helpful arrow to tell you when the next train is. As a regular user, all I can say is thanks to the team! Thanks.
