A little costly but tasty. I like most thing on the menu esp the egg ommelette (sometimes too oily) but the braised duck is small, tastes a bit sour and expensive too. The standard can be inconsistent, sometimes very good, other time average. I visit this place a few times a year as it is walking distance from home

Yummy old school flavours. It was a quiet night, yet the nostalgic aroma and taste of the peranakan dishes was so comforting!
Place was okay for Peranakan food. Went there for a weekday for dinner and it was packed, I believe it was due to a corporate booking. Lucky we managed to get seats. Ordered several dishes and the staff forgot one of the dishes, the Assam Babi. Was expecting an Assam Babi with more gravy and tender meat. However, the Assam didn’t have the sour taste and the meat was rather tough.
2nd time here. Consistently good peranakan food with home-cooked taste. Charming old school decor.
Amazing, authentic food, good service and good evening.
I won’t recommend. Portions are small. Their Chap Chye was bitter, Babi Ponteh was tough (Cos it’s not pork belly) and Ngo Hiang is squash and mushy. They really need to ventilate the restaurant cos it has a funny smell.
Much improved food and service standards from years ago. We really relished the flavourful classics like Ayam Buah Keluak, Pork Sioh, Curry Fish Head and Prawn Nanas this time. Never tasted this good. Food paired really well with their wine listings. We will be back again!
Very good peranakan food. Great service too.
