Not only are Pat & Stan lovely people, they really do know how to make a fabulous made to measure kilt. In short time, with only an over the phone measurement session, I picked up my kilt today. JUST WOW. Thanks Pat can't wait to wear it.

We had a wonderful experience with House of Tartans Kiltmakers and Pat! We live in the United States and wanted four kilts for a wedding and had a pretty tight timeline. Pat was amazing to work with every step of the way! We loved chatting with her as we figured out the measuring and all of the details. She finished our kilts quickly and was able to mail them to us with plenty of time to spare! The quality of the kilts and other products she sells is amazing! Don't hesitate to order kilts from Pat even from the United States! She does a fantastic job!
I don't typically leave reviews, however I was looking for a Kilt in a very specific Tartan and had a very slim timescale; I wasn't initially optimistic about being able to get what I needed, given the circumstances, but then I came across the House of Tartan Kiltmakers, headed by the wonderful Pat and instantly I knew I was in safe hands. Throughout working with Pat she was nothing but friendly and really took the time to listen to you and make sure you get the best service possible. My Kilt just came today, earlier than expected and within my timescale and I genuinely could not be happier with the Kilt; it is beautiful in every sense of the word and is of a fantastic quality that has surpassed all my expectations. Wanting kilts for my son's wedding, I contacted House of Tartans Kiltmakers. I felt it was somewhat of a long shot as I was unsure whether anyone could produce kilts within a short time frame during a worldwide pandemic! Even with the mills producing limited runs, Pat was able to get our family tartan in the style we wanted and create and deliver three beautiful hand-sewn kilts for my sons ahead of schedule. Though the Prime Minister had effectively shut down the country, she and her husband were able to get us everything else we needed for a complete formal wedding including jackets, waistcoats, socks, sporrans and even sgian dubhs with our family crest... and get it all delivered to our doorstep halfway across the world! Pat was a delight to work with, I enjoyed our conversations during her updates in the process, and I appreciate her personal touch. I highly recommend House of Tartans Kiltmakers!!
Our experience with Pat at House of Tartans Kiltmakers was phenomenal. We needed a kilt short notice for a family wedding and she did incredible work. It was done on a short timeline and the quality was impeccable. She even sent a proper belt free of charge. Not to mention we live in the United States and she is based out of England. There wasn't a single issue with shipping, and the whole process was smooth and enjoyable. Pat has truly created a kilt that will be treasured for the rest of our lives and we could not be more grateful!
Dear Pat. Just a wee line to say how grateful I am for my new Ancient Smith tartan kilt and all the accessories to complete my highland wear for my daughters upcoming wedding in Cyprus. I am absolutely over the moon as it looks and fits as good as you promised it would. Even in this time where we are all trying to keep safe, the telephone calls we had were informative and reassuring. Nothing was too much trouble. It is very clear that you know what you are talking about and your kilt making skills are out of this world. What a great experience! We had only about 6 weeks to have these kilts made and shipped to us. Pat and her family came through for us! Her expertise and fun personality made it a great experience. From helping me to understand where my "true waist" was and how to get all of the correct measurements, to ensuring that everything was here and ready to go for the wedding. She walked me though every step of the way, and made sure that I had everything we needed to make it a special day. I can not express how happy I have been with the kilts and the service I have received from Pat. It felt more like I was dealing with a friend, I will miss her fun phone calls! All of my family and extended family have been very impressed and will return to the House of Tartans Kiltmakers again!
I'm very pleased with my kilt, just picked it up today. It was made in record speed and I'm amazed by the quality and craftsmanship. Pat was incredibly helpful in guiding me through the process of getting my first kilt, from selecting the tartan and suggestions on jacket and sporran. Pat provided helpful guidance from measurement to final fitting. Comparing my kilt to my dad's, the quality and finish on mine is superior in every way... Pat's kilt wins hands down!
